The Crash Pad Youth Service
The Crash Pad shelter opens from November to May each year. and supports homeless young people in crisis and at risk providing a friendly family orientated place that they can rest and feel safe.
During their stay at the shelter, the young people are given a bed with clean bedding, towels, dinner and breakfast, access to hot water and bathroom facilities, somewhere to wash and dry their clothes and someone to listen to them and support them throughout their stay.

Pilion Advice and Guidance Service
The Advice and Guidance Service is strictly confidential and aims to help people who live, access services or use the Borough of Islington, who are experiencing difficulties gaining access to services to address their substance misuse issues.
We support people with the following issues:

Registration with GP
Mental Health Assessments
Addiction needs Assessments
Domestic Violence and Abuse
Fleeing Gangs
Homelessness
Physical health Needs Assessment
Legal Advocacy
Immigration Advice.
RINGCROSS COMMUNITY FOOD BANK
The RIngcross Community Foodbank
As of 03.01.2025 it will operate on the following days:
Wednesdays: 12:00 -16:00 Food Bank
Referral Criteria:
- You should live the within the Islington Wards of Holloway, Laycock and Caledonian.
- Be a resident of a Hyde Property in the Borough of Islington.
- Be homeless and/or a rough sleeper.
- £3.00 for using the RCFB.

- AA Group - "Serenity Seekers" : Fridays 18:30 to 20:00
- Evangelical Ministries - Bishop Emmanuel - Sundays 13:00 to 15:00

The Ringcross Community Centre is part of the charitable organization the Pilion Trust. We now run numerous activities and events from our base.

As a Charity and a Community Centre, we continue to practise our safeguarding with regards to the Covid 19 Virus and moving forward.
We have: -
sensors in all spaces monitoring CO2 levels
We have alcohol gels throughout the premises
We have free masks for those who wish to use masks
We do a deep clean after each event
We clean and sanitise r
