Our Aim
We believe in the individual’s right to choose; and, we will offer information and support to enable the individual to make informed choices.
Activ*8 Project will help, advise, support and advocate on behalf of those who have been affected by Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, Alcohol and Substance Abuse/ Misuse, Lowered Mental Wellbeing and may have had contact with the Criminal Justice Services.
What We Do
The Activ*8 Service offers:
Assessment, care planning and appropriate referrals to local programmes and services.
Referrals to detoxification and rehabilitation units, prescribing services, GPs, needle exchanges and day programmes.
Advice and information about available services in and around Islington that offer support in helping people to manage their substance misuse.
Work in partnership with other agencies to maximise the resources available to you.
Provide health care and harm minimisation advice
Who We Work With
We work with women over the age of 18 who have complex needs and affected by their chaotic past and have a connection to the Borough of Islington.
